Amazon are selling my blog!

I was rather startled to learn today, via one of my feeds and reports, that Amazon appear to be selling a monthly subscription to this blog on Kindle for $1.99 per month! Can they do this without asking me first? It seems a bit of a nerve.

Mind you, the blog will not be of huge interest to most Americans unless they own property in England which is rented out. But even so …

    And they're selling mine! I wouldn't mind, but it's only $0.99…

Maybe your blog is considered more popular, and they think they will sell more of them ..

After all there can't be many Americans interested in English/Welsh landlord and tenant law. Whereas lots of Americans get divorced.

Or are they setting this up ready to sell Kindle in the UK? Maybe you and I John, are to be the carrots that will make the punters buy it …

The thing is, are we entitled to a pound of flesh?

Although, come to think of it, its probably because we have signed up to Newstex.

Have now seen an article in the Guardian today (7/10/09) that confirms that Kindle is coming to the UK. That must be why they are setting up to sell British blogs.
