OFT v. Foxtons case – what now?

The Supreme Court decision in the OFT case against the banks has been handed down today, and to the surprise of many it is in favour of the banks rather than the OFT.

This will also impact on the OFT v. Foxtons case, as I understand  Foxtons were waiting for this decision to be published before deciding whether or not to appeal the recent High Court decision against them.

David Smith of the Pain Smith Blog considers that an appeal is now likely – and  you will find an excellent summaryand commentary on the case on the blog here.

We will have to wait and see.
