A meeting at Essex Property Network

Essex Property NetworkI was delighted to be asked to speak at the Essex Property Network on Tuesday.

It was a very well organised event with all delegates introducing themselves at the start – seldom have I known so much about my audience!

It made me realise what a family business property often is – so many of the audience had family businesses.  Fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, brothers and sisters.

My talk (which was on dealing with rent arrears) went reasonably well and there were a lot of questions.  People, understandably, being concerned about the implications of the Superstrike case and on the correct drafting of section 21 notices!

An excellent evening and thank you to Cyril Thomas (pictured) for inviting me.
