It was particularly good to catch up with Tom Entwistle of LandlordZone, Paul Shamplina of Landlord Action and in particular Alan Ward of the Residential Landlords Association.  Not to mention the delightful Alison Persson who I have known on twitter for so long.

If you attended one of my talks and requested a copy of my powerpoints, you should have got them by now as I sent them out last night.  It was a bit hard to read some of the email addresses so if you have not received yours that may be the reason.  Let me know your email address via the contact form on this page and I will send them off to you.

It was a nice event and I enjoyed doing my talk.  If you were there, thank you for being such a nice audience.

The next event I will be speaking at will be the Landlord and Property Lettings Show at Excel on 20 May.

In the event I was the first to arrive, but that is no bad thing.

CLT Conferences are expensive but they do have excellent speakers. For example this one had David Smith of Anthony Gold solicitors talking about tenancy deposits, Francis Davey talking about unlawful evictions, and James Browne of Lamb Chambers talking about disrepair.

We also had a great talk from Landlord Law Blogs very own resident guest blogger Ben Reeve Lewis who talked about problems and solutions with harassment, and Nigerian death curses.

Believe it or not this is the very first time Ben and I have ever met, although we have been regularly emailing each other for months. We met up in the evening and had a long talk about some exciting new projects we may be developing in the future – so watch this space.

On the way home in the train I had an email from itunes telling me that the Landlord Law Podcasts have been approved for the itunes podcast store. So you can now download the podcasts and subscribe to the series from here.

My slot will be at 12.45, and I will be speaking at the letting agents “theatre” on points of law and practice.  I hope to be covering a bit of agency law, some information about tenancy agreements, some points on tenancy deposits, the Foxtons case, and answer any questions.
