Services

If you need further legal help and advice
The following services are avalable:

>> Fxed fee advice service
>> Repossession service
>> Tenancy agreements amendment service
>> Our referral service for all other areas of work

If you have a legal problem, I offer the following legal services via my Landlord Law service:

Fixed fee advice service
This is only available to annual Landlord Law members (membership fee £80). Members can instruct me via this page for a fixed fee of £85. I require members to complete my instruction form and make payment in advance (the site provides for payment by PayPal or you can send a cheque).

Once I have received payment, the instruction form, and any paperwork (eg I will normally need to see a copy of the tenancy agreement) I can get on and do the advice, which is normally emailed out within a couple of days.

Note that I can cover most areas of landlord and tenant law, but do not normally advise on:

  • Business tenancies (eg leases of shops and offices)
  • Long (eg over 21 years) leases
  • Social tenancies (eg housing association or council houses)
  • Taxation and other financial matters

(If you need help in any of these areas, you can find a suitable solicitor via the Contact Law service and form below)

See this page of my Landlord Law web-site for information on Landlord Law membership. The fixed fee advice page is here.

I also give a certain amount of free advice which you can read about here.

Repossession service
I provide a fixed fee repossession service for standard repossession cases only:

  • Rent arrears claims (rent over 2 months/eight weeks)
  • Claims under section 21 using the accelerated procedure

See this page of my Landlord Law webs-site for details and prices.

Tenancy agreements amendment service
Landlord Law annual members can all download and use any of our extensive selection of tenancy agreements. You can generally find an agreement that will suit your particular circumstances, for example via our Which Tenancy Agreement section.

Minor amendments or special clauses can usually be dealt with as set out on this page (please read through to the end). However we are asked to draft bespoke agreements from time to time, for example for letting agents or where the circumstances of a letting are particularly unusual. You will find details of our amendments service on this page.
