There is a new report out on tenancy deposits and adjudications which has been created by all three tenancy deposit schemes in collaboration.
The guide covers
- the collation of evidence
- what an adjudicator looks for when considering a dispute, and
- the principles on which scheme adjudicators make decisions
It is the first time that all three schemes have worked together to produce educational material. As all three schemes have different terms and conditions it will not help you with the ‘nitty gritty’ rules (as all three schemes have different terms and conditions) but it does help you get an overall picture, and is worth reading for that.
The report has been published on all three schemes’ websites. The only difference between them are the cover design. You can download the DPS version here.
