Local Authority held liable for damage done by tenant

This one, a report of a case where the landlord was awarded damages after the tenant recommended by the local authority did some £8,000 worth of damage, brought forth quite a bit of discussion.  Take a look at it here …

Is ALMO responsible for nightmare tenant?
