Landlord Law Blog roundup from 23 April

This post is more than 13 years old

April 28, 2012 by Tessa Shepperson

Working at the weekendA week of very hard work on the Easy Law for Landlords course this week.  It was all plain sailing up to module two week two and then I hit two hard topics.  Trusts/Equity and then agency law.

I am now on module three part 1 – land law!  I am doing my best to make it easy, honest!

Family reactions to the amount of work I am having to do are mixed.  Graeme thinks I am working too hard, but Patrick (15) has other ideas.

“Are you going into the office now Mum?” he’ll ask, finger poised on the TV remote, about to switch to a program I don’t like.  Thanks Patrick.  Nice to feel wanted.

But what happened on the blog?

A landlords tale of woe

  • I was impressed with David Lawrenson’s insightful blog about the Newham affair
  • Here is an excellent article from the Guardian about evictions due to the HB cap from the landlords point of view
