Landlord Law Blog roundup from 14 May

This post is more than 13 years old

May 19, 2012 by Tessa Shepperson

Good morningNot a bad week but still a lot of rain.  I have been in mostly plugging away at my Easy Law for Landlords course, which will be opening for bookings very soon.

I have also been investigating using Kindle without a Kindle.  You don’t actually need one you know.  There are Kindle apps for PCs, Macs and phones so I can now read Kindle books on my iphone using the Kindle iphone app.

So thats about £80 saved …  (What shall I spend it on??)

But what happened on the blog?

Monday

This is a blog clinic problem submitted by Paul who is annoyed that his tenants vacated early and wants to know if he can reclaim the rent.  Read about it here …

Tuesday

In the run up to the launch of the course which will be opening for bookings next week, I will be making several announcements about the course and the people who will be involved.  Solicitor Simon Parrott is a long time friend of the blog and his comments will be familiar to regular readers.  Read what his involvement on my course will be here …

Wednesday

My letting agent lied to me

Another blog clinic question, this time from an outraged landlord whose tenants have done a runner and whose agent’s service clearly left a lot to be desired.  Read more here …

Thursday

Here is another solicitor who will be involved in my course – so if you are unsure about the Residential Property Tribunal is and what it does, he will be telling all.  Read more about it here …
