Just a quick note to let you know that I will be speaking at the Landlord & Letting Show at the Barbican on 4th and 5th September.
My talks are both in Seminar Room 1 and are as follows:
Tuesday 4th at 15.00 pm – Essential legal points for landlords
I do a quick whip round all the main areas of law relevant for landlords and tell you what to watch out for
Wednesday 5th at 10.30 am – Tips for Evicting Tenants
You hope it will never happen to you but all too often it does! This talk looks at how it all works and what you need to do to guard against the most common problems.
The show is generally a good event for landlords with lots of stands and masses of seminars. For example Kate Faulkner on exit strategies, Carl Bayley on tax, Marie Parris on vetting and referencing tenants and Tom Entwistle of LandlordZone on how to maintatin your rental income.
