Landlord Law Blog roundup from 15 October

This post is more than 12 years old

October 20, 2012 by Tessa Shepperson

Working hardI have been working very hard this week on the new online course I am developing for the new training company Ben and I have set up, Easy Law Training Ltd.

The course uses the material from the first part of the pilot course I set up earlier this year so it is largely a question of checking and transferring over the information and getting to grips with the new software.

For those who are interested in such things, I am using a great new wordpress theme called Optimize Press.  It is all looking really nice.

But what happened on the blog?

Tuesday

Wednesday

‘Friends’ renting a property temporarily, refusing to move out

A Council tenant is given permission to go abroad for six months with friends looking after the property – but now they refuse to go.  What should she do?  A popular one for comments this, read them here …

Thursday

Tenants rights when the landlord has sold the property

It never ceases to amaze me how grasping some landlords can be when a tenant makes arrangemnets to move out to suit their plans.  Read about Hayley’s situation here …

Friday

Ben Reeve Lewis Friday Newsround #80

Ben, after showing us that he is not a man to feel shy about a colourful shirt (he wears them all the time – I have seen it) decides that maybe devolution might be a good idea after all.  See why here …
