A tale of two talks
I really enjoyed attending the Buy to Let Expo last Saturday, and thank you to everyone who attended my talk.
I have got another talk coming up – the always excellent London Landlords day, now being billed as the London and South East Landlords Day.
Its being organised jointly by Unipol Student Homes and the Residential Landlords Association and has a very good line up of speakers – including myself and Ben Reeve Lewis.
You can see the full list here – I think my talk is for about 2.00 pm but don’t have the final times yet.
London & South East Landlords Day is on Friday 7th December and will take place at Senate House in Malet Street, London, WC1E 7HU. A date for your diaries!

When tenants won’t allow access for viewings
This blog clinic post where I suggested that landlords could pay tenants a bonus for allowing viewings and moving out promptly has generated a heated discussion – from outraged landlords to a few people saying “why not?”. 28 comments at the time of writing this! Join in the discussion here …
By the way, have you noticed that the picture on this post is one of those pictures that can be viewed in different ways? I keep seeing the walls going out instead of in. Its driving me bonkers.

Ben Reeve Lewis Friday Newsround #84
Ben has been suffering from an abscess on his tooth this week but, bless him, still came up with his weekly column. Its more or less on squatters and squatting, but he veers off a bit at times – maybe he should eat fewer big Macs? See what you think here …
