At last – a clear eviction guide
There is a lot of help in this blog of course, but for some time I have been thinking it would be nice if there was somewhere landlords could go and get a clear and simple explanation, on a question and answer basis.
Well I have finally done it
The How To Evict Your Tenant website is now online.
It starts off by asking you why you want to evict your tenant, and giving you three options to choose from:
- Rent arrears
- Antisocial behaviour, and
- Other reasons
You are then lead through a few questions about your tenancy type (there is a pdf guide to help you if you don’t know) and whether you have protected the deposit or not, to a page setting out what your main options are.
Simple!
