The Landlord Law Blog clinic is a popular service. Very popular.
Questions are submitted almost on a daily basis.
The Problem
The trouble is, as I tend not to answer more than about two per week I am very much in arrears. In fact I am still looking at questions asked in April.
As this is a free service which I do in my spare time, I don’t think anyone can really complain about this.
However I know that some people would really like to get their question answered a lot quicker than this and would be prepared to pay for it.
I have therefore decided to introduce, for a trial period, a paid element into the blog clinic. This is the new ‘Fast Track’ service.
About the Fast Track Service
Under this service (assuming the payment is made) I will either do the advice post within 14 days or I will refund your money. I have made the period 14 days to take account of holidays, but in fact with the fast track service I will try to get the answers online within a couple of days.
I will still have the free blog clinic running alongside this, and I will try to do at least one free post every week. So you will still have a chance of getting your question answered for free. However, realistically your chances of getting an answer will be considerably better if you make the payment.
From a readers point of view, you will not know whether the questioner was using the fast track service or not. Readers will be able to post comments as usual and as with the free service, people need to accept as a condition of applying for the service, that they will not hold any readers commenting liable for any losses they may suffer, if people commenting make a mistake.
I have priced the new Fast Track service at £36 ie £30 plus VAT – which is not bad for solicitor advice, plus of course you get the benefit of everyone else.

The income (assuming there is any) will help cover the blog running costs, and may also allow me to do a bit of upgrade work.
