Exciting news from Landlord Law – a new collaboration with top housing solicitors Anthony Gold

This post is more than 12 years old

September 25, 2013 by Tessa Shepperson

Landlord Law logoI have some very exciting news for you.

I am thrilled to announce that I am linking up with top housing solicitors firm Anthony Gold and we will be working together – both on my Landlord Law site and also on this blog.

This means that :

  • Anthony Gold will be providing all the legal ‘one to one’ services on Landlord Law (apart from a few advice services which I will continue to provide) AND
  • We will (over time) be introducing some new services for landlords – and also for letting agents
  • Anthony Gold will also be helping me with this blog – so there will be some top quality legal articles going online for you, plus
  • David Smith and Giles Peaker will be helping me answer the blog clinic questions – so we should be able to get a few more done.

As part of this exercise I will be closing the solicitors practice part of my business. So after 30 September 2013 TJ Shepperson solicitors will be no more. However my Landlord Law business will remain and will carry on as before – except that Anthony Gold will be helping me with the site content making it even better!

We are all hugely excited by this new collaboration – Andrew Brooks, head of the Housing department at Anthony Gold said

“I have long been an admirer of Tessa’s fantastic website and blog. Anthony Gold are delighted to be working with Tessa and will be offering quality, cost effective legal advice to users and visitors to the Landlord Law site.”

I will mostly be liaising with David Smith and Giles Peaker –

David Smith many of you will know from our conference where he did a brilliant talk on HMOs. He is also an expert on the tenancy deposit regulations so I will be asking him to help out on deposit posts and questions too.

Giles Peaker is the founder and main writer on the hugely respected Nearly Legal housing law news and comment blog. He is also Chair of the Housing Law Practitioners’ Association, and is particularly interested in disrepair and complex possession issues.

Thats all for now. But you will start seeing some new content from them very soon on this blog. Watch this space!

    Exciting times hey?

I am thrilled for you Tessa, the guys at Anthony Gold have an excellent reputation and I look forward to reading their articles and no doubt debating a few points with them. I am in regular contact with Giles @NearlyLegal via Twitter and I very much enjoy the banter and his sense of humour as well as his professionalism of course :)

    Congratulations!
