One of the things you are always told to do as a landlord is research carefully the area where your properties are. Preferably before you buy them.
But how do you do this?
Most people probably do most of their research online now, but this can be very fiddly, finding all the different websites and inputting the location.
But now it just got much easier – thanks to the boffins at Property118.
They have created a special, and free, research tool for landlords to use. All you do is put in the post code, and you can get information from about 20 different sites. Including:
- The Land Registry
- Rightmove
- Zoopla
- Spareroom
- Google street view
- Environment agency re flood risk
- Crime statistics
and so on. Its a very useful tool. Try it below. It will save you a lot of messing around.
