Landlord Law Blog Roundup from 2 December

This post is more than 12 years old

December 7, 2013 by Tessa Shepperson

AnnouncementsGot a few announcements to make this week.

First – our Landlord Law Conference is now open for bookings.

I will do a proper post on this during the week, but in the meantime you can see what is on offer and how you can get a 50% discount on the Conference fee via www.lllconf.co.uk (the same as our official hashtag #lllconf – neat eh?)

Second – I am considering doing a guide to help landlords and agents getting access for gas inspections.

I need YOUR feedback and have done a little Survey Monkey >> here.  Its only 10 questions.  If you have the time (and have had the problem) please >> let me have your feedback.

Third – we have a couple more workshops coming.

These will be an ending tenancies workshop in London and one on tenancy agreements in Norwich.  I am finalising the arrangements, but if you think you might want to come along, please sign up to the >> mailing list and I will keep you informed.

But what happened on the blog?

Monday

Co tenant share of the deposit paid to lead tenant

A blog clinic question this which attracted a few comments so is obviously a bit of a problem.  Take a look here …

Tuesday

New Legal Kits online shop

I have replaced the ‘shop’ page on this blog with a link to a new ‘Kits’ site.  Which has links to buy most of my ebooks and kits and guides.  This site will also be a place where I can host kits and guides as and when I get them written.  Take a look here …

Wednesday

Tessa’s Tenancy Agreements – letting to tenants with pets

Another in my tenancy agreements series – I take a look at lettings which allow pets and the implications for your tenancy agreement.  Find out more here …

Thursday

Ending tenancies workshop

A quite note about the successful ending tenancies workshop which took place on Wednesday.  Read about it here …

Friday

Landlords biggest losers in Osborne’s CGT shake-up

Ben is on holiday this week so Steve Sims has stepped into the breach with a column on tax.  Steve will be writing more on the blog in the new year.  Read the post here …
