Essential Legal Points for Landlords #landlordlawessentials

This post is more than 11 years old

March 31, 2014 by Tessa Shepperson

Landlord Law EssentialsIf you are a fairly new landlord, or letting agent – you may find the legal side of things a bit confusing.

Even if you are an experienced landlord, there may be aspects that you do not fully understand.

To help with this I am developing some essential legal content for landlords (and letting agents if they need it).  As follows:

1. My free e course

This has been around for a long time and literally thousands of landlords have taken it and found it useful.  You can sign up to this >> here

2. My new #landlordlawessentials series on LandlordZONE

Tom Entwistle has kindly asked me to be a guest blogger on his wonderful LandlordZONE site – I am using this to publish a series of short posts on essential legal topics that landlords need to know.

Find them on twitter via the hashtag #landlordlawessentials

3. My new #landlordlawessentials workshop

For those who want a bit more, I have developed a days workshop which will be taking place in London on 12 June 2015.  This builds on the 1 hour talk many of you may have seen me do at the Landlord & Letting Shows.

It will be a quick whip through the various areas of law that landlords need to know about, giving explanations to help you understand them.  Including basic tenancy law, shared properties, HMOs, repairing issues, eviction – to mention a few!

There will be plenty of time for you to ask questions and we will have some practical exercises too.

You can find out more >> here.
