This post is more than 11 years old

August 24, 2014 by Tessa Shepperson

HolidayIts bank holiday weekend and for once the weather looks to be reasonable so we may be taking off for a walk later.

I’m also going to take tomorrow off so the next post will be Tuesday.

But what happened on the blog last week?

Monday

What can you do if your tenant won’t let you in to do the annual gas safety check?

This is a post about the Gas Access Kit from Robert Brown and myself which has finally been completed.  Find out more about it here …

Tuesday

Are these tenants liable for re-decoration to cover smeary walls due to cleaning mould?

A blog clinic question about tenants liability for smears on the walls caused by cleaning up the mould.  There is a great answer in the comments from the DPS – read it here …

Wednesday

Tenant worried about keeping the dog she inherited from her father as her tenancy agreement says no pets

Interesting discussion here on whether the clause and the landlords refusal to allow permission would be reasonable – what do you think?  Join in the discussion it here …

Thursday

HMO Legal Basics – Licensing: 3

In the HMO series I am doing wtih David Smith we take a look at conditions imposed by Local Authorities and when landlords can challenge them.  Find out more here …

Friday
