Landlord Law Blog Roundup from 1 December

This post is more than 10 years old

December 7, 2014 by Tessa Shepperson

morning coffeeI am spending a lot of time just now planning what we will be doing next year.  We have new things coming on board, for both Landlord Law and my Easy Law Training company.

Indeed for ELT I have set up an online survey, which if you complete it, will entilte you to a £30 money off voucher for any of our workshops and online courses in 2015 (subject to conditions).

You will find it here.

But what happened on the blog last week?

Monday

Tenants locked out of their rented property with all their things inside – what can they do?

A nasty situation if it happens.  We have quite a few helpful comments and this post also inspired Thursdays post later.  Read it here …

Tuesday

Landlord refusing to repay tenant for essential repair work carried out

This post also inspired quite a few comments on this not uncommon situation.  Read them here …

Wednesday

Is a section 21 notice valid if the deposit paid before April 2007 was never protected?

We have the answer for now, but it may change later.  Find out more here …

Thursday

A quick guide to rudimentary landlord checking for tenants

Ben Reeve Lewis has come up with a guide – if you are a tenant wanting to check out your landlord.  Some of the comments are helpful too.  Find them here …

Friday

Ben Reeve Lewis Friday Newsround #182

Back with his usual news roundup, and news of his growing career in music, read all about it here …
