Landlord Law TV features innovative new property training course for young people

This post is more than 9 years old

November 10, 2015 by Tessa Shepperson

Episode 6Today has episode six of our Landlord Law TV series going online.

The discussion between Ben and I this time is on pets in rented property.

We are also thrilled to have a feature on a new training initiative to train young people for the property industry.

This is the brainchild of former NAEA President Jan Hytch (of Arnolds Keys in Norwich) who is seen here in conversation with course leader Mattew Dimmock.

The course in questions is a level 3 business with property services course at City College Norwich and is the first course in the country to train young people for the property industry – to nationally recognised qualifications in sales and lettings that are accredited by the NFoPP (National Federation of Property Professionals), no less.

We also interviewed four of the students on the course, all very impressive, and who now have the best possible start for their future careers in the industry.

It is hoped that this course will inspire others elsewhere in the country and that this will help improve standards generally in the property world.

Incidentally my son Patrick who filmed and directed all of the Landlord Law TV episodes is also a student at Norwich City College, albeit on their media course.

You can watch Landlord Law TV Episode Six here.
