Landlord Law Blog Roundup from 11 September

This post is more than 8 years old

September 16, 2017 by Tessa Shepperson

Checking up on the latest on Landlord Law Blog

We had a great workshop on Thursday with the wonderful Robert Brown talking about Block Management.  Spoiled only by a duck flying into the window (yes it really happened).

We are now taking bookings for two more (hopefully duckless) workshops, with the equally wonderful David Smith.  The first is his ever-popular workshop on HMO Law and Practice which will take place on 27 October at the Cambridge Belfry Hotel in Cambourne with its ginormous free car park.

The second will be on the somewhat scary topic of Consumer Law (scary as most landlords know nothing about it and it can carry fierce penalties) which will be held in the lovely Assembly House in Norwich on 8 December.

But what happened on the blog last week?

Monday

Tuesday

A question asked by a tenant in my Blog Clinic this week – raising an issue that can be very frustrating for tenants

Wednesday

I continue my series on our legal system

Thursday

How can I evict my tenant’s wife when she is not a tenant?

A question asked in my Blog Clinic this week – which could happen quite easily to any landlord
