I did a very silly thing on Friday. While attempting to chop up a swede for dinner I succeeded only in chopping off a small part of the top of one of my fingers.
Which meant that most of that evening was spent in A&E at the Norfolk & Norwich Hospital (where they were all lovely by the way – our National Health Service is FANTASTIC).
It was the middle finger of my left hand which is now all strapped up and I have to be very careful with it until it has healed up. Which, as I am a touch typist, makes things a bit difficult!
So Dear Reader, in order to save it a bit of grief, I am going to take a break from the blog – so there won’t be any posts probably for about a week.
I can’t stop work altogether as we have our Black Friday offer but I will be trying to take it a bit easier. Although I may also investigate the voice to text feature in my computer.

Trust you’re finger is on the mend. I’ve sliced my finger in a similar incident years ago. It took months for the nerves to heal but the skin was much quicker. Get well soon we enjoy our blogs :-)
