We continue our series on ‘green improvement’ grants and support provided by local authorities to landlords and tenants.
This post covers Hillingdon London Borough Council to Lancaster City council.
Hillingdon London borough
There is a central government scheme that offers grants, which can be found here. However, on the council site, they have no grants available currently.
Hinckley & Bosworth council
Hinckley and Bosworth offer financial assistance for home improvements and renovations, which can be found here. There is also an ECO grant found here.
Horsham district council
All available grants can be found here
Hounslow London Borough
Hounslow has the LAD green homes scheme which can be found here.
Hull City Council
All information regarding grants and advice can be found here
Huntingdonshire county council
Information on advice as well as schemes which offer grants can be found here.
Hyndburn council
Hyndburn has a variety of grants, which can be found here. Note that the other grants are found on pages 4 & 5.
Ipswich borough council
Warmer homes project can be found here. Ipswich also has advice found here.
Isle of Anglesey County council
Information on a grant scheme can be found here.
Isle of Wight council
The Isle of Wight has a ‘Warm up Wight’ scheme which offers energy improvements. Information can be found here.
Isles of Scilly Council
There is information here, which refers to the Isle of Scilly in conjunction with Cornwall council. Homeowners should inquire using the email found at the bottom of the page.
Islington London Borough

Kensington & Chelsea London borough

Kettering Borough council
Kettering offers the Northants warm homes scheme which can be found here.
Kings Lynn and West Norfolk council

Kingston Upon Thames London borough
There is a grant available which can be found here. There are also grants available here
Kirklees district council
There is various funds and grants which can be found here. In addition, Kirklees is part of the better homes Yorkshire, where information can be found here.
Knowsley Metropolitan council
There is a variety of funding and grants which can be found here.
Lambeth London borough council
All available grants and funding can be found here.
Lancaster City Council
There is free advice which can be found here. There is also the cozy home in Lancashire scheme which can be found here.
