For a long time I have been thinking about doing something extra for tenants.
After the sucess of my free e course for landlords, the obvious thing to do was a free e course for tenants.
Happily I already had the domain name tenant-law.co.uk which I was not doing much with, so putting the service on its own website seemed sensible.
Although for years there has been a massive amount of information for tenants on my Landlord Law site, tenants tend to be put off by the name.
The course launches
I did quite a lot of the writing for the new course over Christmas and have been beavering away in my spare time ever since. Finally on Sunday, it was finished.

Good landlords have nothing to fear
If you are a landlord, and are a good landlord (as most of the landlords reading this blog are) then there is nothing in this course to worry you.
Your tenants won’t need advice on disrepair (as your properties will be in tip top condition) and you will not illeglly harass or evict your tenants. You will protect your deposits promptly and will not try to increase the rent other than by legal means.
The only people who need worry about this course are the bad landlords.

So if you are a tenant and are having problems, this is a good way to find out what you are and are not entitled to.
The course is completely free and without obligation – although I will be using it to promote my tenant products (not that I have that many), you don’t have to buy them!
