Landlord Law Blog roundup from 25 April

This post is more than 12 years old

May 4, 2013 by Tessa Shepperson

Coffee and cakeIts been a third week of innovation here at Landlord Law Towers.

First  I set up the Landlord Law Blog Club – just a bit of fun for LLLBlog philes (have YOU joined yet?)

Then, I launch the How To Evict Your Tenant website – incorporating a guide for landlords to help them avoid ever being sued by a tenant using my tenants kit …

Phew!  That’s enough innovation for a bit.  Time for a coffee and cake break …

But in the meantime – what happened on the blog?

Monday

What is the landlords liability for tenants loss if they have previously complained about the locks?

What is says on the tin really.  But with a couple of nice comments.  Take a look at them here …

Tuesday

David Smith talks about Houses of Multiple Occupation Law and Practice

A great clip of Davids talk at our recent conference.  By the way, David and I may be doing an online project together soon.  So watch out for that.  But for the clip – click here …

Wednesday

How can this tenant get her deposit back?

With great difficulty is the short answer, but for the full monty go here …

Thursday

Landlord having to refund benefit back to the Council

The problem about direct payment of benefit.  Although the commentators are more knowledgeable about it than me.  Read what they have to say here …

Friday

How to Evict Your Tenant

I did not get Ben’s post as he sent it to an old email address by mistake so instead I put up this post about my new website.  Worth a look – see here …

Ben Reeve Lewis Friday newsround #105

I got it eventually and here it is.  The usual stuff, hot steaming housing gossip and a bit of news too.  Get it all here  …
