Well my big news of the week (which I hinted at in the last roundup) is the teaming up with specialist housing law solicitors Anthony Gold, and the closing down of the solicitors practice part of my business (with effect from 1 October 2013).
I will continue to run Landlord Law (my membership site) and this blog as before, but as I will no longer have a solicitors practice I will have to describe myself as a ‘non practising’ solicitor.
This is really good news for all of you though, as it means that solicitors from Anthony Gold, in particular David Smith and Giles Peaker, will be helping me out on Landlord Law and here.
This will vastly improve the service – I am a reasonably good landlord & tenant lawyer but cannot claim to know as much as David & Giles do! They are going to be helping me out with the blog clinic too so we should be able to publish a few more of them.
This also means though that we will probably be publishing more posts – so if you get the daily emails from the site, you may want to consider changing to the weekly roundup service.
