Landlord Law Blog Roundup from 28 April

This post is more than 11 years old

May 5, 2014 by Tessa Shepperson

CoffeeAnother bank holiday is upon us.  We are hampered in our enjoyment of this by having a car which won’t start.  Still at least we’ll miss all those traffic queues.

One thing I will be doing is more work on, is the development of my new Landlord Law Store website.

I will be doing a proper post about this later, but I’ve moved my free Essentials E Course over there to form part of a new free Content Library and added a few other things.  If you want to pop over and have a look, its >> here.

But what happened on the blog?

Monday

Tenant cancelling agreed early surrender – what are the landlords options?

A blog clinic question this, landlord wants to know if he needs to set up a new tenancy.  See my reply here …

Tuesday

DSS tenant vacates property voluntarily then claims unlawful eviction!

Outraged landlord wants to know what her options are.  Read what I and the commentators say here …

Wednesday

The Landlord Law Conference Course 2014

This is now online for you – if you were unable to attend this is your chance to see the talks.  Special launch offer ends on Friday.

Thursday

Guilty landlord fined for damp and mould and ordered to get rid of it and stop it coming back…ever!

Another successful day at the Lambeth Magistrates Court for solicitor Timothy Waitt.  See here …

Friday

Ben Reeve Lewis Friday Newsround #152

Ben considers the benefit bill and how the government could deal with the escalating rents.  Read it here …

Saturday

I will be interviewing Professor Martin Partington CBE on 7 May #landlordlawlive

Just to let you know.  This one has rather crept up on me.  You can register on the blog page here …
