Information for new visitors

Thank you so much for visiting the Landlord Law Blog!  I am Tessa Shepperson, a lawyer & writer and this blog is all about my specialist area – residential landlord & tenant law.

If you are a landlord, a letting agent, a tenant or work in housing (England &  Wales UK only) you should find it very useful.

We normally have a couple of posts week (sometimes more) with a ’roundup’ post at the end of every month.

Content is a mixture of news items, legal information and tips, advice on readers’ problems and information about our services.  On Fridays, we normally have a ‘Newsround’ post.

Now you are here, have a click around the site.  Or:

If you are here because you have a landlord & tenant problem:

  • Take a look at my answers to readers’ questions here

If you are a landlord:

  • Take a look at the ‘tips‘ posts and if you like doing things yourself, check out my Landlord Law service

If you are a letting agent

  • Find out how my service can help letting agents here.

If you are a tenant

  • Our Renters Guide site.

If you are a social housing worker
