Landlord Law Blog Roundup from 27 April

This post is more than 10 years old

May 2, 2015 by Tessa Shepperson

morning coffeeIts May already – 5 days off from the election and 12 days off our Wales Conference.

It will be an interesting election.  No-one really knows what will happen or who will end up as the Government.

So far as housing law is concerned, it could bring in big changes – particularly if Labour are elected or form part of a coalition which endorses their plans for rent caps and longer fixed terms.

Then on the other hand being part of a coalition could usher in different changes or maybe none at all.

There are also decisions for the government of the day to make on the implementation of some of the Deregulation Act changes and on whether to extend the Right to Rent checks to the rest of the country.

Heigh ho!  Interesting times.  But what happened on the blog?
