Landlord Law Blog Roundup from 22 September

This post is more than 9 years old

September 27, 2015 by Tessa Shepperson

Tessa and BenBen and I have been filming again – as you can see – for our ‘Section 21 Special’ episode of Landlord Law TV which is due out on Tuesday.

And, wait for it, Ben has a new Hawaiin shirt!

Of course, no sooner had we set up the camera, lights, etc., than over the road starting drilling – knocking down a big wall I think it was.  Typical.

So that is the explanation of the background noise, if any of it gets through.

But what happened on the blog this week?

Monday

Section 21 the new rules – gas certificates

I turn my attention to the important issue of gas safety certificates in my continuing saga of the section 21 changes for post September 2015 ASTs.  Read it here …

Tuesday

Section 21 – the new rules – the prescribed information booklet ‘How to Rent’

I get a bit overexcited about the complexity of the new rules. See what the fuss is about here …

Wednesday

The Rogue Landlord campaign 10 years on

Ben looks back and considers how we have moved from there to here.  Read all about it here …

Thursday

Can a landlord charge a tenant for an unwanted report?

A blog clinic post – there are so many of them that I have to do at least one per week.  Read about this one here …

Friday

Ben Reeve Lewis Friday Newsround #222

Ben looks at students, tenants ignoring tenancy agreements, letting agents boards and Norman Foster.  Find it all here …
