Notable Property Persons, in their own words – a new series on the Landlord Law Blog

This post is more than 15 years old

March 17, 2010 by Tessa Shepperson

Who will the Notable Property Persons be?I am delighted to report that I will be starting a new series on this blog shortly.  It will be called  ‘Notable Property Persons in their own words’.

Every week I will be asking someone in the property industry to answer ten questions, in 100 words or less, and provide a photo.  These will then be published on the site.

The ‘notable people’ will come from all areas  – landlords, tenants, lawyers, agents, commentators, anyone really who has made their mark in the private rented sector, and who has an interesting story to tell.  There are, I know, a lot of you out there!

I already have a few persons in the bag, but who would *you* like to see featured in this series?  Please leave a comment with your suggestions.

Just a thought but I think my mum, Teresa Galley is just what you are looking for in a notable property person.

She was the first ever winner of the ‘National Property Woman of the Year’ award, owns and directs three property related businesses (One is in property development and refurbishings, another is a successful lettings agency and she has recently started her very own property guide for the local area that has really taken off.

On top of all this she even finds time to be an NLA representative for South Yorkshire, Humberside and parts of Lincolnshire.

Also, she had a regular property advice column in the local press that she unfortunately had to give up due to the demand of all of her other ventures.

I think she’d be perfect for the sort of person you are after, she is extremly hard working and really knows her stuff.

Give her a ring at the office if you are interested.

    Thanks,

Thank you very much for this, yes I will get in touch. Not immediately as we have just done Shona, but at some stage in the future. I would like this series to celebrate good landlords.

I would also like to have to tenants’ champions feature – does anyone have any suggestions?
