I
ts been a funny old week. My sites are now all on a new dedicated server but there were, as always, a few hiccups.
You may have noticed that this blog lost its home page for a few days for example. Plus there were a few other issues.
However the nice man from UK Fast, my ISP, has now sorted them, so I am all set. (And 100% carbon neutral)
I’m also very excited about the new training company I have set up with Ben Reeve Lewis, Easy Law Training Ltd, so watch this space.
Although you can get an idea of what we are going to be doing from this holding page here.
But what happened on the blog?
Nothing on Monday, as it was a Bank Holiday. I’ll be continuing with the ‘bigger picture’ series this Monday.
Tuesday
When is rent deemed to be a deposit – an update on Johnson v. Old
I am indebted to Linda Howard of Shoosmiths for keeping me up to date with this important case. Find out about it here …
Wednesday

Thursday
Aggressive receivers threatening tenants – what should they do?
A blog clinic question this. John has found out that receivers have been appointed as it seems his landlord has stopped paying rent, and seeks advice. Find out more here …
Friday
Ben Reeve Lewis Friday newsround #73
Ben concentrates on the Montague Report this week, but lets slip that he and Frazzy have an anniversary. Read about it here …
