Landlord Law Blog Roundup from 6 June

This post is more than 9 years old

June 11, 2016 by Tessa Shepperson

coffeegreencup200sqA bit of a scrabbling around week, partly because my Mum has gone into hospital for a (minor) op which resulted in my forgetting to do the Newsletter.  Sorry Newsletter readers – I’ll try to get it done this week.

There was also the webinar on Friday (which, Landlord Law members, will go online soon – promise).  I actually moved it to Friday so I could tell people about it in the newsletter on Thursday, then forgot to do the newsletter.  Such is life.

The online kit is coming along nicely though – but there is still quite a bit to do with it.  Heigh ho!

But what happened on the blog?

Monday

How can I serve legal proceedings on tenants who left leaving no forwarding address?

A blog clinic question with an easy answer but one which has underlying questions about whether it is worth prusing tenants for debt anyway.  Read it here …

Tuesday

What is tenancy deposit prescribed information?

Nine years on after the regs came into force, some landlords are still asking this.  So I thought I had better answer it.  Answer is here …

Wednesday

How can this landlord legally remove an occupier who is vandalising the property?

Another blog clinic question, one where I am inclined to think that the best answer maybe the answer I have been trained not to give.  See why here …

Thursday

Grounds for Eviction: Ground 16 – Premises let to employees

We are getting near to the end of this series.  Hope you have enjoyed it.  Here is the penultimate ground here ..

Friday

Ben Reeve Lewis Friday Newsround #254

Ben talks about seaonality in curry and in homelessness, along with worrying government reports and the gentritication of Peckham.  Read all about it here …
