Landlord Law Blog Roundup from 11 July

This post is more than 9 years old

July 17, 2016 by Tessa Shepperson

Tessa SheppersonThis has been a busy week for us with two events:

  • A visit to the Essex Property Network on Tuesday evening and
  • My Ending Tenancies workshop on Friday

Both went really well, and I will be publishing some interviews we did with attendees at the Tuesday meeting shortly.

The other exciting thing is that my son Patrick Gee is now working with us doing film and media work – we have plenty for him to do!  Expect more video content from us in future.

But what happened on the blog?

Monday

Are these former tenants liable to prosecution for trespass?

A blog clinic question looking at when tenants who have handed in the keys are entitled to go back into the property.  Read it here …

Tuesday

Who is in charge – the landlord, the letting agent or the tenant?

A blog clinic question where I look at the operation of agency law in a real life situation.  Find out more here …

Wednesday

Watch the video of our Manchester Conference 2016

We have finally been able to get a video together showing delegates at our very successful and popular Manchester Conference.  Watch it here …

Thursday

Edwards v Kumarasamy – the final decision

The Supreme Court rectify the difficult decision from the Court of Appeal to the relief of landlords everywhere.  Read the decision here …

Friday
