Your Law Store – ebooks and forms for Lodger Landlords

This post is more than 8 years old

October 5, 2016 by Tessa Shepperson

Your Law Store New Lodger packsYour Law Store is a small e-commerce website which I run with my long term web designer Gill Bishop.

What we sell

You will (at the time of writing this) see a promotion for Your Law Store on the Landlord Law Blog home page – normally for one of our Lodger Landlord products.

The main Lodger Landlord product we sell is the New Lodger Pack – where you get a zip file containing about 14 forms including checklists, information forms, reference letters, our lodgers ‘right to rent’ checklist and form, and various other bits and pieces. Plus, if you want it, our lodger form itself.

Your Law Store Ebooks Bundle dealThere are also a couple of ebooks – my ‘Novice Guide’ which talks you through representing yourself at a County Court hearing, and Tom Derret’s ‘How to Win Deposit Disputes’ which talks you through winning a tenancy deposit adjudication.

You can get both ebooks together and get a discount.

The Your Law Store Upgrade

For some time Gill and I have been planning an update to the site and we have now, finally, got it done.

The site has a new design and is now fully mobile friendly.

New Products:

New Lodger Pack upgrades – all the lodger packs now have a set of detailed notes explaining how to use the various forms, and we also have a new pack for lodger landlords using the Monday to Friday lodger agreement.

The Pet Agreement and Information Form – this is based on a form I developed on Landlord Law for landlords who agree to allow tenants to keep pets. It contains details about the pet, details of someone who can care for the pet if the lodger can’t, and other terms and conditions to protect your position.

It can be used at any time and will serve as an amendment to your main lodger agreement.

More about the Your Law Store site

We hope to be producing some more products in due course. I still have to update my Section 21 ebook (which I had to withdraw from sale after all the legal changes and have not had time to re-write yet), plus we have some more lodger forms planned.

Note however that we do not sell any tenancy agreements or other landlord forms, as these are all available on my Landlord Law website. Neither do we sell any physical products – all our forms and ebooks are electronic.

However our ebooks are provided in three formats – pdf, and the two formats used by the main e readers – epub and mobi for kindle readers.

The site has a detailed help section and a support contact form if you need to contact us for any reason.  We try to respond within 24 hours.

If the ebooks would be useful to you, or if you are thinking of taking in a lodger to make a bit of extra money – please take a look at the site.

You can visit Your Law Store here.
