The Landlord Law Conference (sponsored by Hamilton Fraser) is getting closer. This short series will look at the Conference talks we have on offer and how they will help you.
David Cox – Letting Agent Regulation
This is a year of big change for letting agents with the Tenant Fees Act 2019 due to come into force on 1 June. Other new developments include the obligation to carry Client Money Insurance, expected to come into force in April along with all the other new laws letting agents are expected to know about.
So we are delighted to welcome back to Conference, David Cox who is the CEO of ARLA Propertymark. As he has been negotiating with the government over this legislation for years he is the best person to explain it all to us. David will be focusing mostly on the Tenant Fees Bill but will also touch on other matters which affect letting agents.
