Landlord Law Blog round up from 24 February

This post is more than 12 years old

March 2, 2014 by Tessa Shepperson

coffeeWell its less than a month to our Landlord Law Conference now.  We are all really excited about this – particularly as we have had some great new exhibitors sign up recently.

I wrote the other day about Stewart Title, we also have Pocket Landlord and the Cambridge Building Society and I will be writing a bit about them in the coming weeks.

They will join our lead sponsors TDS, the Residential Landlords Association, ARLA,  Envirovent and Anthony Gold solicitors – who will all be there to talk to and advise delegates.

We have also started thinking about Conference 2015 – watch this space.

But what happened on the blog?

Monday

Evicting a tenant without a tenancy agreement

Can it be done?  For example we know you can’t use the accelerated procedure – does that mean you can’t use section 21 at all?  Find out here …

Tuesday

Can I reasonably assume my tenant has abandoned this property?

A question from landlord Colin.  Actually its a bit of a classic case.  Find out why here …

Wednesday

Help the Government speed up evictions

The DCLG is looking into speeding up the eviction process but they need information about what happens on the ground.  Help them by filling in the online survey. Find out more here …

Thursday

Landlord Law Conference exhibitors – Stewart Title – #lllconf

Talking about Stewart Title, one of the new Landlord Law Conference Exhibitors.  Find out more about them here …

Friday

Ben Reeve Lewis Friday Newsround #143
