Landlord Law Blog Roundup from 1 January

This post is more than 10 years old

January 10, 2016 by Tessa Shepperson

Morning coffeeHere we are in the new year and the holiday already seems months ago.

We have a lot happening this year, what with the Right to Rent checks being rolled out in a couple of weeks and new laws in the pipeline.

Ben and I will try to shed some light on it all for you.  We also have a new blog series on the grounds for eviction, which will take us a while as there are a lot of them.  Most of them very rarely used.

But what happened on the blog this week?

I had to comment as I just wanted to say a big thank you for the wealth of information you have available for tennants. Wednesday’s article was brilliant as I don’t think for a second you should be able to push rents up until cracks and any other structural issues have been resolved!

Once again a big thank you for taking the time to update so frequently recently, as I’ve educated myself so much just by having everything here on where as I stand as a first time landlord in one place!
